Yes, I know! I haven’t been artistically active recently! and I blame myself for that!.. but I have been doing something elese instead…. “crocheting” ! Yes!! I’m that kind of girls (or women) that can’t get satisfied doing just one thing lol .. I will, in sha Allah, write a post for you, about my crochet hobby ^_^, but meanwhile let’s talk about ” Light painting” photography 🙂
In the photo above, I have cut a mosque silhouette, set my camera on a tripod, and hop! started the lightpainting session. If you think that this is the first photograph I took , you are mistaken! this must have been number 7 or 8 may be! I am never happy with the first result, and don’t ask me why 0_0 lol
It is realy hard to distinguish between the two, but at least lightpainting is so “Real” if I can put it in these words!
For those who didn’t hear the term “Lightpainting” before, it is a photography art that is specifically created in one single ling-exposure using light source! yes! Light! it is the key and it is the “brush” the lightpainter uses to paint in the dark!
So basically, Light is the “brush” and dark is the “canvas”
I have created this Light Painting using lightpaintingbrushes Plexiglass Rectangle, I got the purple kind of color, through a purple tape that I stick on the edge of the plexiglass brush ^_^
Hope you like the portrait of my miniature red car! Let me know in the comments if you do! ^_^
It has been a long time since I posted on my WordPress blog, and too be honest, I did miss it so much! it’s just that I have been through tough time, still I am, but won’t lose hope and faith in Allah ^_^
This didn’t stop me from creating new Lightpainting art.. and Guess what? I have received a gift from https://lightpaintingbrushes.com and I couldn’t believe my eyes, a box full of lightpainting tools! WOW! I jumped of joy!
Today I will share with you this lightpainting I made using LPB brushes ^_^
I chose this work today as a symbol of good luck and joy that I want to share with you through it ..
It has been a long time since I haven’t lightpainted, haven’t posted anything on my blog or painted a decent painting! I admit I have been such a lazy person for a long time lol
But guess what? I have started to lightpaint again, even that I have no new tools to work with, but who cares since I love what I do?! Creativity increases when you don’t have enaugh tools or different options!! (at least that’s what I have noticed as an artist with limited resources)
Here’s what I did last night ^_^
This photo is taken in a single long exposure of 15 seconds, and straight out of camera, NO Photoshop!, I have used a plastic bottle and a flashlight of my mobile phone to lightpaint this plant ^_^
I would like to know what do you think of this photo ^_^
It’s midnight over here and guess what? I just had some chocolate and peanapple juice😰😅🍫🍹😶 Now I feel guilty! 😭
In order to burn some calories, I thought I have to add a post on my blog, so here we go! 😅
I have lightpainted the above picture in the summer time, it was a moonless night.. just the stars.. it was a perfect time for some lightpainting✨✨
I like steel wool because it’s so much fun, although I always get the tips of my fingers burnt lol
If you choose to try this method of photography, the safety of the area is your responsibility. Just like fireworks, there is risk involved with setting steel wool on fire. An other thing: Never, Never, Never try this at home
I set my camera, run to the spot where I should stand facing the camera, and right before it started shooting, I set my steel wool on fire and begun to spin it in a circular movement.
Good morning dear Readers! I thought I have to share this great post written by a very talented Photographer Nalinda, about photographing the Moon🌕🌖🌗🌘
Here’s the link to the post:
Lots of useful information there, enjoy reading!
Nb: for some reason I couldn’t share the post as it is on my blog, I guess it’s sometging to do with free plan may be?? Don’t know! But I have added the link to the official post on Nalinda’s WordPress website✌
The story behind the title of this photo, is simply because it was taken in a dancing movement 📷!
You will be, perhaps, surprised how! I will explain to you the basics of Lightpainting Photography;
What is LightPainting ?
It is a set of different “lightsource” moves that are captured in a given time ( usually seconds) by the camera, in a dark environment☺, the result of these light moves or “paintings“are translated into beautiful photos, this process is called Lightpainting Photography 📷😊
Having said that, we understand that the photo we get after this “lightpainting” process are SOOC ( means: Straight Out Of Camera) which also means: Noooo Photoshop! Tadaa!!💃
That’s one of the reasons I’m in love with Lightpainting⭐ the difficult part of it,is that you have to keep trying to have and reach the Desired LP photo because you are taking picture in a dark room, you have to wait and see what your camera has captured! You can’t see the moves before that, it’s like drawing on a sketchbook with your eyes closed ✨but it is worthy 📷🎨⭐
May the stars shine your sky like the light shine my way🌷
